Job Description

Responsibilities
• Collect blood samples via venipuncture accurately and timely.
• Process laboratory specimens as specified by protocol.
• Perform blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings accurately.
• Prepare and accurately record ECGs/Holters.
• Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants.
• Assist in preparing rooms and medical equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working and study environment.
• Foster respectful relationships with study participants.
• Accurately record all research data obtained or observed.
• Observe study subjects for general well-being and potential adverse events, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Transcribe source documentation onto case report forms.
• Assist with quality control of source documents and case report forms.
• Maintain a basic understanding of current regulatory requirements.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Assist with study procedures as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken.
• Maintain skills to perform all study tasks as required.
• Ensure constant awareness of participant safety and dignity at all times.
• Handle participant complaints efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure client and participant confidentiality is maintained.
• Respond to client and team queries in a timely manner.
• Take ownership of the quality and standard of own work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The environment is supportive and focused on maintaining the safety and dignity of participants. Proper attire is required to maintain professionalism.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
