A low student‑to‑teacher ratio ensures intensive, personalized support, empowering students to develop independence, emotional regulation, functional academics, and life skills in a setting designed for their success.

Annual Salary

$65,707 - $74,107 (Base pay +301 Payment + $10,000 Annual SPED Stipend). PUSD bases salary placement on years of prior experience and level of education.

Benefits
• Medical Insurance valued at over $11,000 per year. PUSD covers 100% of the employee’s insurance premiums with most plans. Some plans include cost sharing and there is an option to purchase insurance for dependents at PUSD group rates.
• Life Insurance ($50,000) with option to purchase additional for self and family
• Pension Plan with the Arizona State Retirement System: District matches employee contributions (Approximately 12%)
• Generous PTO / Sick Leave plan
• Opportunities for additional pay as an after‑school club leader, coaching athletics, tutoring, etc. (all optional)
