• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
• Monitor client progress and document behavioral data accurately.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and educators, to develop effective care plans.
• Provide direct support in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
• Assist clients in developing social skills and coping strategies through structured activities.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients while promoting independence.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
• Experience or training in behavioral health, special education, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum and other developmental challenges.
• Strong communication skills to educate clients, families, and team members effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed are essential traits for this role.
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is required.
