• •An established as co-author or senior author of proposals, journal articles and technical reports

Responsibilities

• •This position will be responsible for supporting faculty and scientists’ biostatistical needs in clinical research, as well as providing didactic instruction and student mentoring through the university
• •Qualified candidates will have a strong background in biostatistics, including methodology and design, hypothesis testing, bioanalytic approaches, and power analyses
• •Preferred candidates will have experience with clinical research, NIH grant writing, large data sets and teaching and mentoring
• •Assistant Scientist plans, coordinates, implements and conducts independent scientific research
• •Research would include but is not limited to complex laboratory testing, experiments and analysis following established protocols
• •Analyzes and evaluates findings
• •Organizes and conceptualizes ideas leading to proposals
• •Writes technical summaries and publications
• •Prepares and makes formal presentations of research results
• •Considered the principal investigator on grants
