The positions available focus on two primary needs: assisting within an elementary behavior support classroom, and providing cross-campus/Life Skills support for students with more intensive or aggressive behaviors. Those who have worked within CPI protocols or managed aggressive caseloads will find their experience highly valued in the latter role. Schedules typically run from 7:15am to 3:30pm, offering a consistent daytime workweek.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience supporting students in school-based settings is strongly preferred
• Prior exposure to elementary, middle, or high school environments beneficial
• Background in managing behavior intervention plans, especially in Life Skills or aggressive behavior support roles
• CPI certification or significant experience with de-escalation preferred for cross-campus assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective 1:1 and small group interaction
• Passion for positively impacting students with diverse behavioral needs
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 1:1 and classroom support for students with behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with special education staff and teachers to implement individualized programs
• Track and document behavior data to inform intervention strategies
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and proactive behavior management
• Support Life Skills and behavior support classrooms as needed
