Compensation:

$78,000 base salary

Responsibilities:
• Support patients and their families with evidence-based therapy in both group and individual settings
• Perform regular wellness checks by phone to inquire about behavioral health status and medication adherence
• Prepare patient documentation and communicate pertinent clinical information to the patient, referring provider, and treatment team
• Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications
• Develop treatment plans based on the patient's values, goals, and health using comments from the patient's treatment team and support system
• Utilize evidence-based methods to provide individualized, client-centered treatment to children and their families
• Generate client documentation and communicate clinical information to all stakeholders
• Comply with insurance and government policies, laws, and procedures
• Collaborate with other service providers and community resources using a holistic and integrated approach
• Empower families through comprehensive training sessions and engagement during clinic sessions
• Supervise the implementation of treatment plans by technicians and provide training and feedback to ensure accuracy, consistency, and meaningful progress
• Promote collaboration, professionalism, mentorships, empowerment, and advocacy

Qualifications:
• State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a clinical social worker (LCSW) or equivalent
• Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field
• 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with behavioral health patients is required
• Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills
• Active BCBA certification and Virginia license
• Completion of the 8-hour supervision training
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism
