Position Summary
The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center,
Department of Internal Medicine, seeks faculty members to join the Division of
Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Preventive Medicine. This position is
Professor and Research track. Salary and rank will be commensurate with
experience and education.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• PhD or MD with a minimum of a master of science or master's in clinical psychology, public health degree in epidemiology, health services research, or a related field;
• Postdoctoral training or experience in health services/substance use disorders research and/or behavioral intervention research;
• A track record of scholarly achievement, including peer-reviewed funding and high-quality impactful publications; and
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A track record of publication in Substance Use Disorders Research;
• Experience in Community Engaged Research, Medical Education & Leadership;
• Comprehensive understanding of academic and private sector health systems;
• Translational and Implementation Science & Research Expertise;
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
