Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Occupational Therapist (Fridays, Weekends, Evenings)
Location: Broomfield, CO
Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly
About us
Gather+Grow provides high quality, neurodivergent-affirming therapy services to people with autism and related neurodivergence across the age-span. Collectively, we're a team of heart-centered innovators and advocates from various disciplines who've come together to push the boundaries of best practice and challenge the status quo.
As a practice we believe it is our primary responsibility to support our therapy team in providing authentic care to our clients. We believe that responsibility extends from providing a peaceful and positive environment, to therapy tools, mentoring, scheduling and a lot more. We also understand that therapy is not a "normal job." While it is rewarding it can also be mentally, physically and emotionally taxing. We support our team with a generous holiday schedule to help avoid burnout. Importantly to our neurodiversity affirming care approach, we also firmly believe that sometimes the best minds to support neurodivergent care are neurodivergent minds and encourage all neuro-types to apply. We strive to exemplify the same principles we teach through our therapy sessions in our hiring and employment practices.
Our work environment includes:
• Flexible working hours
• Part-time teammates can come in when they have clients!
• Telehealth can be done at home
• We’ll work with you to build a consistent schedule
• Relaxed atmosphere, casual work attire & positive company culture
• On-the-job training weekly mentorship, and collaboration with our interdisciplinary team
• Growth opportunities and continuing education stipend
We are seeking an innovative, passionate Occupational Therapist to join us in collaboration. As our newest teammate, you'll work together with our multidisciplinary team to provide neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-assumed practice. To succeed in this position, you must be a self-starter with a passion for social justice, who has integrated values and confidence to engage vulnerably with our clients and families. We're looking for an ally who is driven to break the mold of medical-based, deficit models for people with autism, and collectively create more inclusive spaces. If that sounds like you, read on!
