What You’ll Do:
• Implement 1:1 direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in homes or school
• Collect accurate ongoing data on client’s programs
• Help build communication systems (AAC, PECS, ASL) with our non-verbal and emerging-verbal clients and teach communication skills
• Collaborate with the clinical team to tailor ABA treatment plans, ensuring they are personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual
• Ensure clear communication with all team members and parents/clients
• Provide behavioral support and respond to challenging behaviors when necessary
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Basic Requirements:
• HS Diploma
• Active CBT
• Experience working with children (personal/professional)
• WA State Driver's license
• Insured, reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25lbs
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients
• Ability to work M-F
Ideal Candidates:
• Individuals who love working with children
• Candidates with a current CBT or RBT certification
• Experience in ABA
• Teacher aides or Paraeducators (we have part-time hours available after school)
• Direct Support Professionals and Respite Workers
• Anyone who loves working with people with disabilities or is interested in disability advocacy
