Job Description
in our dynamic cardiovascular team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, patient-centered environment, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD).
Clinical Responsibilities:
• Providing specialized outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease.
• Performing and interpreting advanced cardiac imaging relevant to ACHD (e.g., echo, MRI, CT).
• Coordinating multidisciplinary care, including surgery, interventional cardiology, maternal-fetal medicine, and genetics.
• Managing the transition of patients from pediatric to adult congenital care.
• Developing and overseeing dedicated ACHD clinics and outreach services.
• Supervising procedures related to ACHD, when applicable.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients, ensuring timely diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the field of ACHD and contribute to publications and academic endeavors.
• Participate in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows within the cardiovascular department.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest techniques and technologies vascular and ensure integration into clinical practice.
• Provide leadership in the expansion of ACHD services within the institution and across outreach locations.
Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree, board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
• Fellowship training in Cardiology and ACHD.
• Extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease.
• Strong academic and research background, with a desire to contribute to advancing clinical practices.
