Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions to clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities under the close supervision of a BCBA. RBTs implement individualized behavior-analytic treatment plans designed to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills, collect and record data, and support the development and generalization of socially significant skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver ABA therapy services in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings under the direct supervision of a BCBA. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs based on client needs. Accurately collect and enter data using CR Essentials or other data collection platforms during each session. Follow proactive and reactive strategies for behavior reduction with fidelity and consistency. Utilize evidence-based prompting, reinforcement, and teaching strategies to build client skills. Support generalization and maintenance of client skills across various environments and caregivers. Maintain professionalism and uphold RBT Ethics Code 2.0 and HIPAA compliance at all times. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, and team members. Complete required documentation and session notes within the same business day. Maintain RBT credential in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
