Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide pediatric home health services as a 1099 independent contractor.
In this role, you will evaluate children, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide engaging therapy to help children improve communication, speech, language, and feeding skills. This position offers flexibility, clinical support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with pediatric clients and their families.
Schedule Options: 1099 Independent Contractor (8 sessions/week)
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goals
• Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions in the home setting
• Address areas such as articulation, phonology, expressive/receptive language, pragmatic language, fluency, AAC, and feeding (as applicable)
• Educate caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home
• Document therapy sessions and client progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and support SLPAs in accordance with state regulations (if applicable)
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, payer requirements, and company policies
Qualifications
• Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Article 9 Certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
