Clinical Research Coordinator (Psychiatry/CNS)
Location: Boynton Beach, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Setting: Outpatient Clinical Research
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join a growing outpatient clinical research team. This opportunity is ideal for a clinically experienced professional with prior research experience who is passionate about patient care, organization, and advancing medicine through clinical trials.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong clinical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced research environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians, sponsors, and study participants while contributing to innovative Psychiatry/CNS research studies.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage clinical research studies within Psychiatry/CNS therapeutic areas.
• Conduct patient visits and perform study-related procedures, including vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, lab processing, and specimen handling.
• Recruit, screen, consent, and enroll study participants.
• Administer and/or assist with protocol-required psychiatric rating scales and clinical assessments.
Qualifications
Required
• Prior clinical research experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience administering Psychiatry/CNS clinical rating scales and assessments is required, including experience with some or all of the following:
• MADRS (Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale)
• CGI-S (Clinical Global Impression - Severity Scale)
• CHRT-C (Concise Health Risk Tracking Scale - Clinician)
• SCID-5 (Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 Disorders)
• ATRQ (Antidepressant Treatment Response Questionnaire)
• MGH ATRQ (Massachusetts General Hospital Antidepressant Treatment Response Questionnaire)
• BTRQ (Bipolar Disorder Treatment Response Questionnaire)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical laboratory procedures.
• Understanding of GCP guidelines and FDA regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Preferred
• MA, LPN, or RN certification/licensure.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Experience with EDC systems, eSource, and clinical research documentation.
• Prior experience coordinating Psychiatry, CNS, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, or Mood Disorder clinical trials.
