Job Description
As a caregiver with CE HCA, you will provide assistance and companionship to clients in their homes. Your role is vital in supporting daily living activities, promoting a safe and healthy environment, and enhancing the overall well being of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily activities.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with planning and preparation according to dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or light outings (if applicable)
• Monitor and report changes in client’s physical or emotional condition to supervisor
• Maintain accurate records of care provided
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient
• Fluent creole
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow plans
• Must pass background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for position)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
