Requirements:
• MD or DO with active Florida Medical License
• Active DEA and NPI
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative clinical and research environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Outpatient clinical experience
• Interest or experience in clinical research (not required)

Responsibilities

  • The provider will diagnose and treat patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting while having the opportunity to participate in clinical trials
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat rheumatic conditions
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and monitor medications, including biologics
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary and research-driven team
  • Training available for physicians new to research
  • Some study activities may be conducted remotely, depending on the protocol
