Job Description
ssionate about improving hearing health and providing compassionate, expert care? MultiCare Yakima is seeking a dedicated full-time Audiologist to join our dynamic clinic team. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will perform diagnostic testing, interpret results, recommend treatments, and fit hearing aids, making a real impact every day.
Required Skills:
• Active Washington state audiology license (preferred)
• Successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree in audiology, including clinical practicum
• Credentialing with a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (AuD) from a board-approved institution (for master's degrees)
• Proficiency in performing diagnostic tests such as pure tone air and bone conduction, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry
• Ability to interpret test results and advise patients and physicians accordingly
• Strong communication skills to educate patients on hearing aid use and maintenance
• Current BLS Certification
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience conducting hearing aid evaluations and fittings
• Ability to troubleshoot hearing aids and perform routine maintenance
• Knowledge of ear protection options and medical follow-up procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Other Requirements:
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Ability to travel for training or professional development if needed
• Maintaining licensure and certifications in accordance with state and federal regulations
Compensation for this position is competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $1.00.
