Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and blood bank.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
• Accurately record, analyze, and report laboratory test results.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and documented.
• Maintain laboratory safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and handling.
• Communicate critical results to appropriate healthcare personnel.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
Qualifications
• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Certification as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and testing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
