Job Description
viduals with ASD who live in their own apartments, alone or with a roommate, under a case management model. We currently support five individuals in Woburn and five in Lowell.
Position Details:
This is a part-time (24-hour) Direct Support Professional position with the potential to grow into a full-time, benefited role.
- Salary: $23.03 per hour.
- Supervision: You will work directly under the Program Director, who provides ongoing support sessions and training opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring attainment of Life Plan goals.
- Monitoring health, wellness, medical appointments, and medication compliance.
- Promoting independent living skills and the development of social, recreational, and community opportunities.
- Maintaining compliance with all DDS and Nexus regulations, policies, and directives.
Schedule: The schedule is 24 hours per week at both the Woburn and Lowell sites. All staff are required to attend a meeting in Woburn at 10am-12pm on the last Monday of each month. Mondays and Thursdays are required days.
Requirements:
- A current, valid driver's license and available vehicle are required.
- Willingness to travel to Woburn and Lowell sites.
- One year of experience in the field or related course of study is required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory.
