Qualifications & Preferred Background:
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational setting
• Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other team members
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments
• Ability to collect data and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement one-on-one and small group ABA-based behavioral interventions with students in school settings
• Observe, record, and report student behaviors, using data to help shape effective support plans
• Work alongside classroom staff and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavior and inclusion
• Assist with the development and delivery of social skills instruction and daily routines
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing supervision as required
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding all student information
