Job Description

Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Elgin, Illinois
Step into a key role supporting high school and transition-aged students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time contract position offers you the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of learners with complex needs, focusing on behavioral intervention and promoting student achievement.

This opportunity runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each school day, working alongside dedicated professionals and providing specialized services in a dynamic educational setting. Your knowledge of assistive technology and experience supporting students with diverse challenges will be highly valued. Notably, a PEL (Professional Educator License) is not required for this role, broadening access to talented BCBAs prepared to contribute their expertise.

Qualifications:
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
• Demonstrated experience with assistive technology and working with students with complex needs
• Strong track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral intervention plans
• Ability to work full-time during the school day (7:30 a.m.

- 3:00 p.m.) throughout the school year
• Familiarity with high school or transition-aged populations preferred
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral services for students with complex needs
• Assess, design, and adjust individual behavior support plans using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Integrate assistive technology strategies to foster communication and independence
• Document data and contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings
