Job Description
nt. If you're ready to launch a career where you can learn and grow alongside other committed professionals, we'd love to hear from you.
## What You'll Do
In this role, you'll serve as an in-person supervisor to our clients and RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) in a BCBA capacity while receiving oversight and mentorship from experienced BCBAs. Your time will be divided between approximately 30 hours per week on BCBA-related tasks and 10 hours per week providing direct therapy and RBT services to clients. You'll also support the training of new BT/RBT hires as needed and take a proactive approach to managing and developing our RBT staff.
## Who We're Looking For
You'll need a Master's degree in special education, psychology, or a related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health, treatment philosophies, and professional practices. Most importantly, you must be pending BACB Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification within 1 year of your start date. You should possess extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis, and previous experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
Beyond formal credentials, we need someone who can abide by The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts established by the BACB, as well as HIPAA policies set forth by In. Bloom. You'll need reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, insurance, and a smartphone. Most critically, you must work positively and favorably with consumers, families, and staff, bringing genuine compassion, responsibility, and a cheerful attitude to your work each day. Strong analysis, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
## Work Environment & Physical Demands
You'll be working in an environment where the noise level is moderate to loud. The position involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, along with bending, squatting, and standing as needed. You may need to lift up to 50 pounds at times, and computer work is a regular part of the role.
## What We Offer
We understand how vital BCBAs are to the success of the children we serve, and we show our appreciation through competitive compensation and benefits. You'll receive competitive weekly pay plus monthly bonus incentives. Our generous paid time off package includes 15 PTO days annually, a birthday PTO day, and all company holidays. We provide comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, plus a Fidelity 401K program with a 6% company match. Additional perks include an Employee Discount Program, Mental Health Support and Employee Assistance Program, and a partnership discount with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. You'll also have clear pathways for career advancement into Clinical Supervisor roles, and you'll work with a management team that genuinely cares about your professional development, welcomes your ideas and suggestions, and is committed to maintaining a fun, supportive company culture.
