About the position
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a part-time in-home ABA therapy opportunity in Suffolk, VA 23434. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic RBT who is passionate about helping children with autism build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through high-quality ABA therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for an RBT seeking weekday daytime availability, supportive BCBA leadership, and meaningful one-on-one work that makes a difference every day. At Autism COE, our RBTs are supported by collaborative leadership, involved BCBAs, and operational teams focused on helping employees succeed while delivering meaningful care to children and families.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services in the client’s home
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record session data accurately
• Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and professional therapy environment
• Collaborate with supervisors regarding client progress and treatment implementation
Requirements
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Prior ABA or child-related experience required
• Must be comfortable providing services in-home
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and professionalism required
• Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented
• Passion for working with children with autism and developmental needs
