In this role, the PT will assist in the continued development and expansion of our PT program. The PT will maintain a caseload which consists of working directly with children and families.

Through a coordinated, multidisciplinary team approach, our specially trained pediatric therapists treat all types of congenital and acquired neurological conditions with a large portion of our caseload including Autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, development delay, cerebral palsy, Down and other genetic syndromes, communication disorders, feeding and swallowing disorders, spasticity and more.

The PT is responsible for collaborating with the AARC leadership team to promote onboarding of new employees, monitoring and implementation of programs including knowledge and familiarity with billing and reimbursement.

In addition, the PT will manage the day to day practices of the program, provide oversight and manage the operating budget, performance metrics, and staffing levels.

Skills, knowledge, education and experience:

· Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Alabama as well as current with National Board certification requirements

· NDT or SI background preferred

· Two years' experience with pediatrics preferred

· Experience in organizing work and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

· Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.

· Demonstrates awareness of community resources.

· Experience working with children with multiple disabilities and/or behavioral challenges preferred.

· Basic computer skills.
