Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert behavioral support in an on-site contract role located near Thousand Oaks, CA. This full-time position spans the entire school year and welcomes professionals open to traveling for work. Your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will help create a positive, supportive educational environment, and youll collaborate with educators and families to drive meaningful change.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Active BCBA certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Masters degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or a related discipline
• Thorough understanding of and compliance with all professional standards of practice
• Ability to satisfy all relevant federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school teams and caregivers
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct behavioral assessments and collaborate on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide ongoing staff training and support to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
• Collect and analyze data to assess student progress and modify interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
