Position: School based BCBA opportunity
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Hinsdale, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, designing behavior intervention plans, supervising behavior technicians, and providing ongoing training and support to families and caregivers of individuals with autism and related disabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of problem behavior.
• Develop and implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans based on the results of the assessment.
• Supervise and train behavior technicians to ensure treatment fidelity and effectiveness.
• Provide ongoing support and training to families and caregivers to help them implement behavior interventions in the home and community.
• Monitor and evaluate progress towards treatment goals and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to provide coordinated care for individuals with autism and related disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all services provided.
Requirements:
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Master's degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a BCBA.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
