Job Summary Responsibilities and Duties
• Provide direct student services in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
• Follow steps and record data for prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Follow steps and record data for prescribed behavior training protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with student's individualized educational plan (IEP), including Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding student progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Effectively communicate with District staff regarding behavior intervention protocols and data collection.
• Utilize safe & appropriate handing procedures when working with students.
• Maintain student confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Collaborate with treatment team including student, teachers, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, and co-workers.
• Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
