Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Medical Directors and Clinical Scientists to gather and organize essential scientific and medical information to support study protocols and developmental strategies.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing critical clinical study documents, including protocols, Investigator Brochures, Informed Consent Forms, and training materials.
• Analyze clinical data and literature to detect trends, safety signals, and address protocol-related challenges under supervision.
• Engage in safety and efficacy data evaluations and contribute to the preparation of materials for internal review meetings.
• Summarize study results and relevant scientific literature to provide clinical insights.
• Work alongside departments like Data Management, Statistics, and Translational Medicine to facilitate data analysis and reporting initiatives.
• Support the organization and coordination of investigator meetings and advisory boards, covering logistics and content preparation.
• Assist in creating presentation materials and publications for scientific congresses, showcasing crucial clinical trial findings.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in data science.
• Familiarity with AI agents, large language models, and machine learning.
• Completed relevant coursework in data science, computational statistics, biostatistics, machine learning, and neural networks.

Our Summer Internship Program:

Blueprint's summer internship program spans approximately 12 weeks. This program is designed to equip students with in-depth functional knowledge within their department and a wide-ranging understanding of the life sciences industry. Interns will be matched with dedicated mentors for personalized growth and career development. The program includes interactive lunch-and-learn sessions, networking events, a dedicated intern volunteer day, and other social networking opportunities. It culminates in a final poster presentation where interns can showcase their contributions.

On-site Expectations and Working Hours:

This role operates in a hybrid model, allowing the flexibility to work from home occasionally. However, to maximize the internship experience, we encourage students to work in the office as frequently as possible, as most networking and learning events are exclusive to in-person participants.
• On-site Expectations: Interns are expected to be present at 45 Sidney Street, Cambridge MA at least 3 days per week.
• Working Hours: Anticipated hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on manager discretion.

Dress Code: Blueprint's offices maintain a business casual environment. Suitable attire includes professional yet relaxed wear such as slacks, skirts, khakis, chino pants, or dark jeans paired with button-down shirts, sweaters, blouses, or polo shirts and closed-toed shoes. Formal suits and overly casual clothing, like athletic wear or flip-flops, should be avoided.

Pay Range: Our summer internships offer competitive hourly pay based on academic standing, with an expected range of $23.00-$25.00 per hour.

Who will my employer be?

You will be employed by Magnit, LLC, and will provide services to Blueprint as an intern. Under this arrangement, interns will gain meaningful hands-on experience related to Blueprint Medicines. Note that interns and co-ops are not employees of Blueprint and do not qualify for employee benefits.
