Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing with a primary focus on Chemistry.
• Analyze and interpret test results with a high degree of accuracy.
• Perform manual differentials and evaluate abnormal cell morphology.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and processing.
• Maintain quality control and adhere to laboratory protocols.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume laboratory setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Support neonatal testing and ensure precision in critical cases.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience within the specialty (Chemistry required).
• Experience working in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds preferred).
• Ability to handle high workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong competency in manual differentials and complex specimen analysis.
• Ability to adapt quickly with minimal training.
Certifications
• Required (any one of the following):
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
• AMT (American Medical Technologists)
• AAB (American Association of Bioanalysts)

- •The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of handling complex specimens with accuracy and efficiency
- •Minimum 2+ years of recent experience within the specialty (Chemistry required)
