Responsibilities

• •Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility
• •Performs job functions primarily inpatient, discharge and surgical settings on a daily basis as assigned
• •This role may also include ancillary areas, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other assigned areas in an outpatient non-surgical setting
• •Days: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• •Perform daily cleaning of assigned areas, including but not limited to; dust mopping, mopping/scrubbing, vacuuming, gum removal, and buffing hard floor surfaces using various equipment
• •Complete waste stream removal, including the same transport and disposal of general waste, recycling, and infectious waste
• •Adhere to policies and procedures on patient isolation and all Environmental Services technical and procedural standard operating procedures
• •Follow and comply with hospital-wide and departmental safety requirements
• •Perform other duties as assigned
