Develop and implement research protocols and procedures in accordance with institutional and federal guidelines.
Screen and enroll eligible patients into clinical trials, ensuring compliance with study protocols and ethical standards.
Provide comprehensive patient education and informed consent for participation in clinical trials.
Monitor and assess patient response to treatment and report any adverse events or changes in condition to the research team.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans based on research findings.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and data collection in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee the coordination and logistics of research procedures, including scheduling and coordinating study visits, tests, and procedures.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and administration of investigational drugs and study materials.
Educate and train other healthcare professionals on research protocols and procedures.
Participate in research team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of research projects.
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the research team, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions.
Stay up-to-date on current research developments, trends, and best practices in cancer care.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of research.
Collaborate with other departments and organizations to promote and advance cancer research initiatives.
