Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to take on the role of Behavior Technician. In this position, you will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement tailored behavior plans and teach essential life skills across various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Behavior Technicians are crucial in delivering evidence-based interventions, monitoring progress, and empowering clients to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior intervention strategies as outlined by the BCBA to support each client’s unique needs and objectives.
• Deliver one-on-one instruction using ABA methods such as discrete trial teaching, naturalistic approaches, and behavior management techniques.
• Record and track data on client behavior and progress with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support clients in developing skills in communication, social interaction, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to keep clients engaged and motivated.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress and adapt strategies for consistent implementation across all environments.
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and colleagues to provide updates and share important information.
• Participate in ongoing professional training to continually enhance ABA expertise.
Qualifications:
• Ability to follow guidelines, implement intervention plans, and maintain accurate data records.
• Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
• Dedication to ethical practices, client confidentiality, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
