Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and negotiable instruments while delivering outstanding customer service and promoting bank products and services
  • Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers
  • Cash checks and verify the authenticity of negotiable instruments
  • Issue official checks, money orders, and traveler’s checks
  • Handle credit card cash advance transactions
  • Balance cash drawer daily and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy with minimal transaction errors
  • Adhere strictly to teller procedures, policies, and compliance standards
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and promote bank products and services
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and account information
  • Provide courteous, friendly, and professional service at all times
  • Support branch staff and contribute to smooth daily operations
  • Participate in training programs, meetings, and ongoing development activities
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding issues, updates, and improvements
  • Prepare and submit reports accurately and within required timelines
  • Perform night deposit processing and other clerical duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
  • Accurate and efficient processing of all transactions
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer with minimal discrepancies
  • Build strong customer relationships through excellent service
  • Complete reports accurately and on time
