About the Job
Seeking a compassionate and reliable Autism Support Aide/Paraprofessional for my almost 6-year-old nonverbal daughter with autism. Position is at her daycare, with flexible hours (20-40 hours per week).
Responsibilities include helping with engagement in activities, eating, potty training, following routines, and providing support throughout the day. Experience with autism, special education, childcare, therapy, or related fields is preferred.
We are looking for someone patient, dependable, and committed to helping our daughter thrive. Honest communication is very important-we would like accurate daily updates about successes, challenges, eating habits, toileting progress, behaviors, and overall participation.
This role may be a great fit for a paraprofessional, special education teacher, therapy assistant, education student, ABA therapist, or experienced childcare provider.
