Major/Essential Functions
• Facilitates WBP (Willed Body Program) donor transportation and intake.
• Conducts skilled technical work through embalming and preparation of cadaver donors.
• Performs the cremation process for the disposition of cadaveric materials.
• Prepares and facilitates cadavers and anatomical specimens for transfer, teaching, training, and research purposes.
• Assures that the WBP supply inventory is procured and ready for use.
• Supports accurate record keeping of cadavers, use, cremation, and return.
• Maintains a safe microbial environment within the embalming, cremation, and cadaveric storage areas.
• Practices safe/universal precautions for personal and environmental microbial control (sterilization and disinfection).
• Maintains a safe microbial environment within the anatomy lab, preparation, and storage areas through the use of mechanical, physical, and chemical methods.
• Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to WBP, cadaveric material, and use of anatomical lab space.
• Participates in the anatomical cadaveric specimen inventory process.
• Maintains close communication with the IAS( Institute of Anatomical Sciences) Team.

Responsibilities
- •Employees in this classification provide support in an assigned research laboratory performing laboratory experiments and procedures
- •Assists with the development of new procedures and techniques to be utilized within the laboratory
- •Performs other functional duties such as maintenance of the laboratory and laboratory equipment and supplies
