Job Description
rvices in support of our Regional Center contract and organizational planning efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced SLP who enjoys consultation, report review, and helping organizations build sound, ethical service models.
This is a part-time commitment, offering 10-20 months to start. This has the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. The SLP will work closely with leadership and clinical teams to provide professional insight on speech-language service considerations, compliance, and best practices as we explore expanding into this service area.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and provide professional feedback on speech-language related reports associated with Regional Center cases
• Offer consultative guidance related to speech and communication considerations within interdisciplinary service models
• Advise leadership on speech service structures, including:
• Appropriate roles and scopes of practice for SLPs vs. Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
• Staffing models and supervision considerations
• Best practices for ethical and compliant service delivery
• Provide high-level input on the development of a speech services business plan, including operational and clinical considerations
• Consult as needed on collaboration between speech services and ABA or other pediatric supports
• Participate in occasional meetings or check-ins (scheduled in Pacific Time)
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP license in good standing
• Experience working with pediatric populations, including children with developmental delays or autism
• Strong understanding of speech-language service delivery models and professional standards
• Ability to provide clear, thoughtful consultation and written feedback
Preferred Qualifications
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience with Regional Center systems in California
• Background in program development, clinical leadership, or consulting
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary or ABA-adjacent service models
• Knowledge of SLP/SLPA staffing structures and supervision requirements
