Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who exhibit significant behavioral challenges and the ability to implement behavior intervention plans while collaborating with supervising clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

Behavioral Support
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) developed by supervising clinicians
• Provide one-on-one behavioral and educational support to the assigned student
• Support development of social, communication, and behavioral skills

Crisis Response
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors and crisis situations
• Apply appropriate behavior management techniques to maintain a safe environment

Educational Assistance
• Support the student during classroom activities and school routines
• Assist teachers and staff in implementing structured behavioral strategies

Collaboration & Documentation
• Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Participate in scheduled supervision sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavioral observations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Experience managing high-intensity behavioral situations
• Ability to work independently while following structured behavior plans
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs

Required Qualifications
• Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) Certification – Required
• Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Experience with crisis response and behavior management
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans independently
• Strong reliability, attendance, and punctuality

Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $35 – $37 per hour
  • You will not be blindsided and your salary will be discussed upfront

Responsibilities

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Daily Hours: 6.5 Hours (32.5 hours/week)
