Practice Info
• Affiliated NICU at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital (THO) in Pontiac, Michigan
• 29-bed Level III NICU with approximately 320 admissions annually
• 2,000 deliveries per year
• Weekday in-hospital rounding by two neonatologists
• Night coverage by in-house NNPs; neonatologists take home call one week in three, with in-person attendance for deliveries <28
• Weekend coverage rotates among neonatologists

Responsibilities
• Practice community-based neonatology within a collaborative academic framework
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in protocol development
• Engage in educational activities alongside Michigan Medicine colleagues
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Engage in interprofessional quality improvement and protocol development

Shift & Schedule
• Full-Time

Requirements
• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Pediatrics
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the start date
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Michigan
• Clinical faculty appointment at the University of Michigan, with academic rank commensurate with experience
