Locations of Services: Dorchester Understanding ABA Therapy: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated approach aimed at improving behavior through targeted strategies. ABA therapy is essential for supporting individuals with autism and developmental disorders in achieving better skills and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: Implement ABA Strategies: Utilize ABA methods to address behavioral goals and support student progress. Conduct Therapy: Provide individual therapy sessions using established ABA practices. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and progress reports on student behavior and therapy outcomes. Feedback and Communication: Update parents and work closely with your BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst). Qualifications We Seek: Education: High school diploma or GED is a must. Experience: Prior experience in ABA or similar settings preferred. Certification: RBT certification is advantageous but not essential. Skills: Strong knowledge of ABA principles and effective communication skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Travel: Flexibility to travel between homes and schools as needed. Position Details: Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, after school hours. Salary: $22 to $27 per hour, depending on experience.
