Duties
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed therapists, counselors, and support staff to ensure adherence to clinical standards and professional development.
• Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
• Lead the implementation of evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Manage intake processes, coordinate patient care plans, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record-keeping standards.
• Develop and monitor clinical protocols for group therapy sessions, individual counseling, family therapy, and specialized programs like addiction counseling or behavior management.
• Collaborate with community agencies, schools (including special education), hospitals, and families to coordinate home & community care initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with DSM-TR
• Lead quality improvement initiatives through data collection, clinical research, and outcome analysis to enhance service delivery.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations involving patients with mental health emergencies or behavioral crises through crisis management strategies.
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Must meet criteria as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) in Washington State.
Current, active license as one of the following is required:
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
• Must be eligible to provide clinical supervision in accordance with Washington State regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Extensive experience in behavioral health settings with expertise in working Individuals exp. homelessness
• Proven leadership skills with prior experience managing clinical teams in hospital or outpatient environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work practices, and case management.
• Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Ability to handle complex cases involving diagnostic evaluation, crisis management, behavior management strategies, and patient assessment effectively.
