Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an ABA Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities
• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs, focusing on skill development and behavior management.
• Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure the effectiveness of intervention plans and adjust techniques as needed.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and self-care skills.
• Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching communication, social, academic, and functional skills through engaging activities.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, teachers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies and update progress reports regularly.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages growth, patience, and understanding for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Qualifications
• Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with children and individuals with autism in various settings.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers.
• Comfortable handling medical terminology and maintaining accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to support individuals’ growth and development.
