Job Description
Kids Institute for Development Advancement (KiDA) is looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Behavior Therapist to provide individualized in-home support for a client in Newport Beach, California.
In this role, you will help foster growth and independence by using structured activities, evidence-based behavioral strategies, and positive, engaging interactions both at home and in the community.

Responsibilities
• Provide individualized behavioral and developmental support in home and community settings
• Implement engaging, play-based interventions and behavioral strategies tailored to the client's needs
• Design and lead recreational, educational, and enrichment activities that encourage learning and growth
• Support daily routines while promoting independence and self-help skills
• Encourage social interaction, physical activity, and positive behavioral development
• Accompany and support the client during community outings and other off-site activities
• Assist with occasional travel and related activities as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental differences
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and flexible in a dynamic environment
• Self-motivated, organized, and proactive
• Comfortable facilitating community-based activities and occasional travel
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating meaningful experiences, encouraging progress, and helping individuals reach their full potential in a supportive and engaging environment.
Schedule
Part-time, up to 25 hours per week
• Weekdays: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM (2-3 shifts during the weekdays)
• One weekend day required (hours may vary between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
