  • You provide a critical service to your community by ensuring that all mail and packages are sorted, organized, and loaded accurately before carriers begin their routes
  • As a Preloader, you work in a fast-paced, industrial environment where speed and attention to detail are essential
  • Mail Sortation: Categorize, hoist, and maneuver moderate to heavy quantities of mail and packages into the correct delivery sequences
  • Vehicle Loading: Load mail containers and delivery vehicles accurately, ensuring that items are organized according to the designated itinerary for efficient distribution
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize manual or automated scanning and sorting machinery to verify delivery addresses and route packages to the correct regional hub
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of processed mail and handle undeliverable or misdirected items following proper return procedures
  • Safety & Compliance: Fulfill responsibilities in a structured warehouse setting, adhering to strict schedules and ensuring compliance with all USPS safety policies and regulations
