Job Description
Resident RBT Pathway The Resident RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Program is designed to equip aspiring BCBAs and BCaBAs with hands-on clinical experience, structured supervision, and expert mentorship while they complete their ABA coursework.
Objectives
• Equip Resident RBTs with the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to implement behavior analytic interventions with fidelity and enhance clinical competence.
• Ensure all Resident RBTs receive high quality, structured supervision in compliance with BACB standards.
• Foster the Resident RBTs ability to mentor and guide other behavior technicians and develop leadership and supervisory skills.
• Instill a strong understanding of the BACB Ethics Code to allow the Resident RBT to uphold the highest standard of care in ABA services and supervision.
• Provide opportunities for Resident RBTs to engage in a diverse range of experiential learning.
• Prepare Resident RBTs for a seamless transition into BCBA or BCaBA roles by ensuring competency in the BACB Task List, data analysis, and intervention design.

Responsibilities
• Provide life changing 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings, implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans, and collect and analyze data to monitor progress.
• Assist BCBAs and BCaBAs with conducting assessments, developing and implementing client goals, provide feedback on intervention effectiveness and contribute to case conceptualization discussions.
• Implement proactive and reactive behavior management strategies
• Participate in structured supervision by engaging in mentorship and feedback sessions with BCBAs.
• Assist with center closing duties.
Qualifications
• Must be actively enrolled or enrolling in a bachelor’s or master’s level ABA program.
• Hold an active RBT certification
• Demonstrate strong commitment to ethical and professional ABA practice.
