Job Description
Behavior Technician
At our organization, we are committed to helping every learner achieve progress. Our team provides an 11-month program focused on education and treatment using ABA principles, aimed at assisting children and young adults in developing lasting skills. Our daily practices are driven by collaboration, integrity, and measurable outcomes.
As a Behavior Technician, you will engage directly with children on the autism spectrum to foster skill development, encourage independence, and facilitate meaningful progress. Your role will involve utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support students in achieving their unique goals within a well-structured and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications Needed
• Completion of at least two years of college courses in psychology, special education, or a related discipline
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Experience in supporting children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
• Proficient in communication, observation, and documentation
• Demonstrates patience, professionalism, and a commitment to ABA best practices
Responsibilities
• Deliver ABA instruction individually and in small groups, adhering to established programs and guidance from supervisors
• Accurately collect, track, and report data related to behavior and skill acquisition
• Implement focused treatment plans and behavior support resources
• Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, and team members to enhance client progress
• Ensure materials are organized and maintain a clean, positive, and engaging learning environment
