Job Description

**Overview:**
Amergis Staffing is seeking a Registered/Certified Behavior Technician (RBT/CBT) to work in a high school setting in the El Cajon, CA area for the 2026/27 school year. As a Registered/Certified Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in implementing behavioral intervention plans and facilitating educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs. **Responsibilities:**
- Implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs
- Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives
- Support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA
- Work under the supervision of a BCBA or BCABA
• *Qualifications:**
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable per state/contract)
- Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
- One year relevant experience preferred
- Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
