### What you will be doing day-to-day
You will assist Behavior Analysts in implementing treatment plans that use evidence-based strategies to target language, play, social, and adaptive skill deficits, as well as behavioral concerns that may be impacting learning. As a Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work closely with a Behavior Analyst to carry out treatment plans for individual clients, collect data on targeted skills, and attend clinical team meetings. Training is provided — both on-site and remote paid training and clinical hours are available toward your Behavior Technician certification.
### Who we’re looking for
We seek energetic, creative, and fun individuals who are passionate about helping children with autism learn new skills. Prior experience is a plus but not required; we will guide, support, and mentor your career in Behavior Analysis. Specific preferences and requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree or enrollment in Psychology, Education, or a related program preferred.
- At least 6 months of previous experience working with children; ABA experience and Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others; a positive attitude and fun through play.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to connect with children.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute to clients' homes, schools, or community settings to implement treatment objectives.
- Current TB screening, background check clearance upon hire, and evidence of immunizations are required.
### Location and work arrangement
This position supports clients in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, California) and Los Angeles; the role involves on-site work in clients' homes, schools, or community settings and requires commuting as needed.
