Our priorities include:
• Developing innovative models of person-centered, multidisciplinary care that emphasize value.
• Training and educating future healthcare leaders.

Position Overview: General OBGYN Assistant Professor
The Department of Women's Health at Dell Medical School is seeking a General OBGYN to join us as an Assistant, Associate, or full Professor. We are looking for candidates with exceptional clinical skills, a passion for education, and the potential for meaningful scholarly contributions.
The General OBGYN Division provides the complete range of obstetric and gynecologic services. This role encompasses both inpatient services and outpatient practice, which will involve a blend of community-based clinics and independent private practice.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interdisciplinary care pathways based on the best clinical evidence, tailored for primary care and post-acute settings.
• Integrate registries and patient-reported outcomes into clinical workflows for enhanced quality measurement.
• Create evidence-based care guidelines in obstetrics and gynecology where they currently do not exist.
• Form strong partnerships with referring physicians, hospitals, and post-acute providers across Austin and Central Texas.
• Train and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows on new care models and clinical practices.
• Engage in research and discovery in the field of General OBGYN.
Life in Austin: A Dynamic, Lively City

The city consistently ranks among the best places in the country to live, with nearby lakes and the beautiful Texas Hill Country providing plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities.
Why Join Us?
We offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits package, making it a rewarding choice for skilled clinicians who are passionate about education and eager to make meaningful contributions in an innovative and expanding medical school.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a medical degree from an accredited school and possess an unrestricted license to practice in Texas (or the ability to procure one before appointment). Candidates should be board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or eligible for certification (in certain exceptional cases, this requirement may be waived).
