Job Description

The Strategy & Planning Specialist provides guidance on strategic initiatives, supporting major system‑wide projects within the Strategy & Business Development team This role contributes through deep industry research, rigorous data analysis for business plans and complex assessments, and coordinated support for regional and institute‑level priorities. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:
· Producing reports, conducting data analyses, creating maps, gathering industry intelligence, and performing targeted research
· Conducts internal and external data analyses, environmental assessments, and contributes to the development of presentations used both internally and externally.
· Preparing materials for the HHC Board of Directors, managing day‑to‑day relationships with The Advisory Board and Sg2, and compiling and maintaining key HHC awards, system statistics, accomplishments, and profiles of peer industry systems.
· Responsible for leading, or supporting, system-wide business planning and development efforts, including conducting research, performing data analysis, forecasting, and developing proformas.
· Creates clear, compelling visual analytics and deliverables using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
Experience:
· 3-5 years of progressive experience required in a hospital or healthcare system setting
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
· Knowledge of Qlikview, Tableau and Business Intelligence (BI) data platforms
· Experience in financial analysis and/or financial business development
· Strong willingness and demonstrated ability to work with data, interpret trends, and clearly articulate and present findings to key project stakeholders
· Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry
