Job Description

Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: New Rochelle

Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 support to students in a school setting. Candidates must have experience working with strong behaviors and prior school-based special education experience. Positions are available supporting students across K12 grade levels.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to assigned students
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under supervision
Support students with behavioral, social, and academic needs throughout the school day
Collect and document behavioral data accurately
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and school staff
Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Assist students in developing positive behavioral and social skills

Qualifications:

Active BACB RBT certification required
Previous school-based special education experience required
Experience working with strong or challenging behaviors required
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Ability to remain patient, professional, and consistent in a fast-paced school environment

Schedule:

Full-time school-day hours
MondayFriday

Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $44.80. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
