• •Knowledge of statistical concepts and methods, measurement, testing, and evaluation; research methods, principles, techniques, and philosophies
• •Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research, using computers, software, and statistical tools
• •Ability to plan, organize, and oversee research projects; evaluate research data; develop measuring instruments; interpret and publish findings; communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• •Under moderate supervision, performs routine research projects, may supervise work of others
• •Collect, compile, and analyze research data
• •Prepare, collect, evaluate, and verify samples and supporting records for experiments
• •Use statistical methods and relational databases to analyze data sets
• •Prepare or assist with preparing reports of research findings
• •Assist with planning, developing, coordinating, and administering research projects
• •May assist in designing and creating computer programs for research applications
• •Operate and maintain equipment and automated systems
• •May train users on operation and data management of research equipment
• •Maintain inventory of research related material
• •Comply with all State and University policies
